I came across a very useful website that offers a way to stop spam. You know when you sign up for those online offers and they want your email address. You know it is an open invitation for them to sell your email address to spammers. To protect your regular email account, mailexpire will issue you a free email address that expires when you choose ... 12 hours, 1 week, 1 month ... you decide!
Here's how it works. Sign up at mailexpire. Enter your current email address and a reminder tag, select an expiration time, then press the Update button. mailexpire will then generate a unique email address that you can enter for any offers. All email for the unique email address is forwarded to the current email address you entered. Email stops being forwarded after the expiration time.
